GBARC participated in the 2006 ARES SET from the Region 1 Emergency Operations Center in the Troop G state police building in Bridgeport.  GBARC operators communicated and coordinated with other EOCs across the state of Connecticut using VHF and HF ham radio frequencies.   Drills such as this, enable us to practice those skills needed during real emergencies.
