GBARC joined with the Derby OEM to conduct Field Day in Witek Park, Derby this year.  Four HF stations were in operation plus a GOTA station with HF and VHF/UHF capabilities.  Many different antenna types were deployed including HF verticals, G5RV, and multi-band dipoles. Some of the operators pitched tents and spent the night at Witek in relative comfort. Others slept in their vehicles or stayed up for most of the night. Food was, of course, always available with a large mess-tent and grills manned by experienced chefs.  It was an excellent learning experience and fun was had by all.  Watch and listen to John make an on the air contact.
