GBARC conducted a class to train individuals for passing the FCC Amateur Radio Technician Class license.  The seven week class included participants primarily from first responder and emergency response organizations.  The instructors included Gary - WE1M, Ed - W1EFM, Larry - W1LAG, John - KA1JXW and Tom - W1TFD.  All twelve students passed the Technicians Class exam and one went on to pass the General and Extra Class exams at the same test session. 

The course was sponsored by the CT DEMHS, Region 1 and hosted by the Long Hill Fire Department at their training center.
