CAMEO: Computer Aided Management of Emergency Operations

CAMEO is a suite of software programs used to plan for and respond to chemical emergencies. It includes a set of databases, a hazard modeling program called ALOHA, and a mapping program called MARPLOT.  The CAMEO Course, given at the East Hartford Emergency Operations Center, was offered to emergency management directors of DEMHS and first responders in state emergency management.

Below are pictures of the Instructors and the class, which consisted of CT DEMHS personnel, fire department personnel from around Connecticut and EPA representatives.  GBARC members Vin Vizzo, KB1PFO, and Kevin Cellini, N1KGM, attended the four day course and received CAMEO certification.
